Ascend Men

“An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they [the shepherds] were terrified.” (Luke 2:9). You’d be terrified too, wouldn’t you? One minute you’re minding your own business out in the fields, the next the night sky becomes as brilliant as daylight and a glorious angel appears. The awesomeness then ratchets up to a whole new level in verse 13 when “a great company of the heavenly host appeared”.
