Ascend Advent 2022 Day 15: Treasure and Ponder
Sometimes it’s too much to take in all at once. We need time to ponder and reflect, to allow ourselves time to process what we’ve seen, heard and experienced. If that’s true for normal life, imagine how much more true it was for Mary, who had just given birth to the Son of God. It must have been hard enough when the angel first dropped his bombshell announcement, but now she’s actually holding the Saviour of the World in her arms and watching strangers come to worship him. How did she take it in?
